MANNA FROM HEAVEN
Life is sweet when things go in the right direction. We tend to pray for good things and hope they unfold as expected. Throughout my life, I have experienced both rough and smooth moments, all of which were meant to build, strengthen, and shape me. Endurance has become a routine, and losing hope is never an option on this journey. No matter how many times I fall, I always get up and try again, even if it means doing so alone. 'Last man standing' has been my encouraging motto, and I continue to climb another step of the ladder.
Among the blessings I've received, my children are the most precious. They constantly remind me that anything is possible—keep going. Their voices are sweet and, as scientists suggest, stronger than any covalent bond. The love between us is so strong and radiant; it reminds me that there is no gift more precious. They make me believe that everything is possible under the sun, as long as one puts in the effort to do the right things.
Imagine having a luxurious home, expensive cars, clothes, and being a respected and honored business person, but without children to share your wealth with. People choose different paths; some pursue material wealth, while others prioritize having children, often seeking the same fulfillment. While every choice should be respected, consider being lonely for the rest of your life, surrounded by wealth but leaving nothing behind when you pass on. No one to share the wealth you've accumulated.
The hugs, smiles, laughter, sharing, playing, praying, and joking with my tiny mini-mes bring me happiness, and that is my perspective on family life. Seeing them grow and even challenge me at times makes me believe I've been blessed with the smartest beings who will offer advice to shape society. And by the way, being corrected by a child is incredibly awesome, especially with this Generation Alpha. These kids are born with so much knowledge that they cannot be easily manipulated. Imagine a first-grader telling you to stop smoking or drinking alcohol because they are harmful—something many of us learned much later.
Loving our children should always be a top priority, and it comes with responsibilities that must be met. Being a responsible parent means providing the essential basic needs. However, some parents fail to grasp these fundamentals. Being a deadbeat parent is hurtful and tends to create a negative perception in the child's mind. Showing up unexpectedly is a blessing that often brings them joy, and where happiness prevails, success often follows.
If I were to advocate for children's rights, I would ensure both girls and boys have equal opportunities and teach them basic life skills for smooth navigation. Parenting isn't just about raising a child physically; it's about guiding and shaping them correctly, making them aware of the next steps in life. Always remember that children never forget what is done, told, or shown to them; they store it for future reference, and their memories are sharper than technology.
Always remember to cherish your manna from heaven—the only gift that cannot be bought, a meticulous gift that shines and blesses a home.
