BLOOD ACCOUNTABILITY

While growing, I used to have cravings for a newborn. Having raised my siblings as a nanny was awesome and beautiful. Some days it was rough, but some were quite cute. Laughter took a bigger percentage than sorrow. We used to play, catch up and learn new dynamics. In short, life was at its best. Back then, family was formed by two: a father as the head and a mother as the house manager. Mama made sure that things were in place, as papa on his side, was the director of all things being done. 

Yes, family was a basic unit, treasured and well taken care of. There were minimal breakups, and if they happened was after arrangements had been made by both families. If one got engaged with a kin, then the families could come to an agreement to end it, as it involves 'blood line' as my grandma put it. Family was cherished, and those with many children were valued since they were seen as a pillar of generational continuity. Being called mama or baba so and so was quite overwhelming and was cherished at heart. 
Our great-grandmothers and parents made sure that we were well-equipped with the societal values of respecting and valuing the family line. 

In today's generation, many absurd scenarios are seen on the face of the earth. The universe is experiencing a challenge of accommodating the dark-hearted parents who don't care. You find that feeling is mutual, sex is cherished, but when it comes to accommodating the outcome of the same feelings, then one party fails to take responsibility. Why do you pick a fight you know you will never win? 

Why involve yourself in matters beyond your knowledge and strength? We have so many single mothers and fathers, not because they chose to, but because of deception. Being deceived by a partner is horrific, he/she promises to be with you 'till death', but reality takes control some days. Making someone's daughter pregnant and then denying the fact is quite foolish. The same efforts you enjoy the moments,  are the same efforts you should put in place to take care of the young one. Some mothers also abandon their kids and walk away. 

It's absurd and timidly forcing those deceived to make sure of playing and committing to bring up the innocent kids on their own. Today's generation is kinda messed up because many men choose enjoyment over responsibility, they think that having many women is being a king, forgetting the consequences they plant. Just remember that what you do today will come back tomorrow with a bigger pot. You always reap what you sow, and at the end of it all, there are repercussions. 

So stop being a sperm donor, be a responsible man your parents brought up. The society is watching, and so is God. Remember, your enjoyment should have positive strategies of development, not decline.
